As mentioned last week, Roberto Luongo was battling a groin injury that resulted in Joacim Eriksson being recalled. It looks like Luongo will be back with the Canucks this weekend on their California trip.
Apparently the Bruins didn’t leave town immediately after being pummeled 6-2 by the Canucks on Saturday night. Perhaps the only thing more embarrassing than the Bruins performance on the ice was Milan Lucic’s off the ice. But of course nobody could embarrass themselves more than Brad Marchand did.
Second chances are a wonderful thing, aren’t they? One player who I would like to see in Vancouver providing Prust doesn’t sign with the Canucks is a good, solid character guy. He has a fine head of hair, he’s handsome and he has an awful first name. Tanner Glass. Name: Tanner Glass Age: 28 Size: […]
David Booth hasn’t exactly gotten off to the most roaring start with his new team since he was traded to the west coast on October 22nd. Booth started the year in Florida notching 1 assist in 7 games, while playing on the third line. Not great numbers, but those were expected to change in Vancouver […]

With the NHL Christmas break upon us, perhaps now would be a good time to review the Canucks’ season up to this point. Or perhaps now would be a good time to look at what players the Canucks might want to acquire as they make a push towards the playoffs. Right? Well, instead, lets look at those funny green men at the Canucks’ who distracted Shea Weber, Dave Scatchard and any other Predator that found his way in the penalty box last game. Enjoy!
So with news of Tiger taking a hiatus from golf because everyone and their daughter has “transgressed” with him, I had a random thought.. If anything remotely like this happened to an NHL star, would anyone (outside of hardcore hockey fans) give a flying crap? What would it take for the mainstream media, and more importantly the National Inquirers and TMZes of the world, to take notice and publish an article or two?
Brian Burke’s still a douche but he seems like a good enough father. Good for Brendan Burke too.
The Canucks reduced their roster to 29 players today. Among the players sent down to Manitoba were Cory Schneider and Michael Grabner.
